For my grandparents

Hi!

I am a single child. My parents are divorced since I was a baby. My mother left me since, while my dad had to take care of me. While he passed me on to my grandparents so he could work abroad to send money home, which I really appreciate, that is not the case anymore. Recently, after a really small argument between the two of us, he told me not to contact him anymore and I haven’t heard from him since.

I still have to go to university and build a career, which now I have to do on my own, without any help. But today I am not here to ask for help on that. I just want to give something back to my grandparents for raising me all this time.

We live far enough from the city and there aren’t any safe ways to get there by walking. A car is mandatory. We have one, but it recently ran out of gas. We can’t get groceries and move around the city anymore. It is really dangerous to just walk to the city.

With this post, I just hope to get some gas money and maybe some for groceries. That’s everything. I only have my grandparents now and they only have me to drive them around and help them.

I am not hoping for a lot. I just need a little something to make it work for now.
